  • Job Description

    • Lead & participate together with the team responsible for the day-to-day support/maintenance of the Business Application Systems, including tasks related to identify and troubleshooting Business Application related issues and issues resolution. Managed, assign, oversee and ensure all day-to-day incident support is solved according to the agreed SLAs. Act as an escalation point to handle escalated issues and ensuring all the support incident is addressed accordingly and communicated in timely manner.
    • Serve & being the in-house subject matter expert to act as system functional and technical liaison between Business Users and IT to provide IT related advice on enhancing/upgrade existing Business Application Systems and/or evaluate, design, develop, implement new Business Application System/functions that is in alignment with the defined business strategies and governing to meet with IT related security control and compliance requirement.
    • Lead/performs project management and participates in project teams responsible for system/application software enhancement, implementation and/or upgrades; determines project scope and staff resources required to complete the system change requests/projects; prepares project proposals and budgets, determine cost/benefit and complexities of new processes and projects work plans, timelines. Vendor management, monitors project milestones and reports project progress to project committee/management. Works closely with others IT team, Business Users, Vendors and/or Regional team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects within budget.
    • Lead the team to participate in BCP, Disaster Recovery process and IT related audits. Facilitate and interacts with internal and external audit engagement, facilitate remediation based on agreed recommendation and associated risks pertaining to SOX, Global Information Security Group or any others Corporate requirement. Periodical tracking and following-up with relevant party to ensure audit and compliance gaps are addressed and rectified according to committed timeline.
    • Establish and maintains policy, procedures, SOP and documentation related to area of responsibility. Participates in/on a variety of meetings, reports preparation. Works with business units to set priorities, forecast, establish & consolidated IT related Opex and Capex budgets.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education : Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent professional qualification.
    - Experience :
    • Minimum 10 years of related work experience with a proven track record in developing, implementing or architecting Business Application Systems from front-end to back-end
    • At least 2 years of leadership/management experience.
    • Minimum 8 years of hands-on application supports & technical experience in programming/scripting: C#, ASP, .NET, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, XSL,
    SOAP and/or any others API integration technology, Oracle and MS SQL database.
    - Skills:
    • In depth knowledge of implementing Mobile/Digital Application Technology, Web Technology, Linus/Window platform
    • Good knowledge and experience in Project Management, SDLC, Agile Development methodology is an added advantage
    - Certification : Professional Membership in Project Management Experience (PRINCE2, PMP or similar) & ITIL v3 or greater will be an added advantage
    - Others :
    • Good leadership/management skill, negotiation skill, written and communications skill and presentation skill.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, results-oriented, self-motivated, good interpersonal skill, flexible, independent.
    • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, excellent time management, priorities and organizational skills to work on multi-tasks with high sense
    of urgency.
    • Ability to develop and update technical specifications requirement.
    • Must be able to handle & provide after-hours on urgent incident support request.
