• Job Description

  - Responsible for part & component sourcing, selecting and managing suppliers to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery performance.
  - Negotiate with suppliers on lead time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the Company.
  - Monitor & administer the performance of supplier during the contract term and prior to the expiry of the contract inclusive of conducting supplier performance evaluation, updating performance of suppliers & communicating feedback to suppliers for improvement.
  - Secure and analyze market information to support purchasing decisions.
  - Assist Engineering team on costing of new product development.
  - Perform technical inspection on new sample from local suppliers, when required.
  - Provide technical support to local production including setting up new production line, maintenance of plant equipment and sourcing of spare parts.
  - Establish strategic relationship with key suppliers who are aligned to the company’s needs & nature of business.
  - Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
  - Travel to meet suppliers if necessary.
