  • Job Description

    - Handling all company secretarial matters for Malaysia incorporated entities under the Malaysian Law.
    - Handling compliance and client acceptance.
    - Compliance with provision in the Malaysia Corporate Enactments, Statutory Reporting, Filing and corporate governance.
    - Understand and advice the clients on company statutory, company structure, administration & related matters.
    - To ensure the Annual compliance i.e. Annual reminder, AGM and submission of Annual return is adhered.
    - Billing and collection.
    - Manage Corporate Secretarial teams (training and work quality supervision)
    - Work with Compliance and legal team to formulate Malaysia ongoing compliance and risk framework implemented by the Local and International Bodies (BNM, OECD, FATCA, AML, MACC, SC, KLSE, IRB, IMMIGRATION, Local Authority)
    - Employment pass application
    - Licensing
    - Attending meeting and advisory work.
    - Viewpoint compliance and drafting Corporate Secretarial SOP and templates.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Skill & Experience:
    > 7 – 9 years’ experience in handling client portfolios independently
    > Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
    > Corporate assignments knowledge in Malaysia Companies’ Act 2016 is essential
    > Experience in the professional firms and in handling companies in various jurisdictions is an added advantage
    > Has an established relationship with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) at both federal and state level
    > Proficiency in using SSM platform (MYCOID, E-Info, MY Data)
    > Proficiency in minutes / email writing and reporting
    > Computer proficiency in MS Office Application
    - Certificate:
    > MAICSA or relevant degree / post graduate / professional qualifications
    > Licensed Secretary and practicing license
    - Others:
    > Technical and business acumen
    > In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, processes and best practice pertaining to corporate secretarial service provision
    > Accountability, high professional integrity and maturity
    > Good communication skills
    > Meticulous attention to fine detail and able to work to tight deadlines and multi-tasking
    > Good leadership and people management skills
    > Positive and professional attitude in dealing with clients
    > Self-motivated and proactive
    > Ability to organize people and prioritize work with minimum supervision
    > Strong team player
    > Meticulous
