• Job Description

  • Manage the daily function of Transport Coordination (Domestic and Long Haul-Cross Border Trucking) for efficient management to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation at Trucking department scheduling of 3rd party hired transporters for pick up / delivery of shipment from / to customer, with strive for maximum efficiency in scheduling & deployment of trucks, route and pickup planning with following factors to be considered :
  1. Fair & justified distribution of loads.
  2. Truck turnaround & efficiency is consistently pursued.
  • To ensure hiring of vendors trucks is performed in a cost effective manner.
  • Ensure the data entries into CSS / POD system, and acute and timely billing to the customer,
  • Ensure all trucking reports are submitted timely as per respective deadline required
  • Steering and supervising staff for their quality, productivity, and discipline.
  • Control the department overtime work and cost.
  • To initiate the Non-conformity report (NCR) where necessary and to support the subsequent corrective actions (CAR) if require.
  • To identify opportunities for improvement in quality and cost of Trucking Dept processes.
