Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manpower Planning & Recruiting
Identify each division’s current manpower status & future needs
Design company –wide strategy & processes for recruiting
Set criteria & tools to evaluate candidates for the vacant position
Assess & quality assure recruitment agencies for service & value
Keep up to date with employment markets, pay & benefits, & other issues, which could affect the
recruitment & retention of staff
Ensures staffing process is in compliance with all local requirements
HR Overall (Compensation & Benefit)
Payroll forecast & processing inclusive personal tax and corporate tax works related to HR
Statutory bodies (IRB, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF)
Adjust each employee’s annual pay increase & incentive based on individual performance, pay
grade & etc.
Staff Benefit - Insurance, Medical and Parking or Transportation Allowance update and prepare
and communicate corporate rewards policies
In charge of employment VISA/work permit for non-local staff (application & termination)
Conduct Induction training & compliance training, assess internal & external providers, and
ensure effective delivery
Develop core & role specific competency definition and Identify training & development needs
within each of the business units with Team Leader and the Management.
Performance Management
Company Secretary (SSM/Director/Annual report related issue)
Liaise with relevant department for company documents
Administer overall performance management process
Monitor & support line managers’ performance management activities
HR Administration & Office maintenance
In charge of office maintenance and company assets management
To ensure consistent implementation of Company’s policies & procedures per statutory/HQ
requirements
Monitoring Admin/IT works
Ensure periodic update of policies & take corrective actions
Employee Relations
Implement both proactive & reactive labour relations & collective bargaining policies & actions
plans
Participate in the investigation & resolution of employee relations issues
Insures grievances are handled in a timely manner & all steps are tracked in the grievance
database
Communication & Networking
Guide & counsel employees on HR policies & initiatives
Work directly with Team Leader and consult on strategic business/divisional issues and their
human resources implications
Liaise with government agencies, consultants, trainers, management associates
Qualifications
Requirement
- Language : Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communications skills in English
- Education Background : A diploma/Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
- Experience :Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing Human Resources
- Require Skill : Effectively identifies & sources the right talent for the corporation using the most appropriate
selection strategies and techniques
• Ensures the firm’s HR programs & activities comply with the applicable legal & regulatory
requirements while supporting the firm’s business objectives
• Skills to assess and define the competitive compensation plan for the corporation and effectively
administer the policy
• Display good knowledge of news circulation channels in order to effectively disseminate the
information to the right channel
Demonstrates ability to identify, acquire develop and retain top talent: displays a passion for
people
• Ability to produce under pressure and management of timelines
• Experience working in an Advertising agency environment is an advantage
- Others : *Must have experience handling full set HR
* Must have experience handling expatriate daily welfare
* Must be independent as HR manager will be handling HR matters aloneEnglish Level
