• Job Description

  Supporting Purchasing manager and senior staff
  
  -negotiation with supplier about the low material price
  -Travel to Penang, Johor and Thailand for visiting suppliers (approx. 5 times/year)
  -Must be able to read the mechanical drawing
  -Manage and give an instruction to junior staff
  
  ***Below Job scope can be change based on company situation and condition.
  
  • Government new Implementation such as SST, Tax Exemption, Custom Tariff, Bank Negara new ruling and etc
  • Lead Purchasing & Procurement team.
  • Supervise the operation of Purchasing team-at least 3 staff
  • Communicate with suppliers or vendors to support or source materials needed for the project.
  • Propose material and determine/finalize items.
  • Price negotiation, check pricing with suppliers on the purchasing materials
  • To monitor, follow up and expedite the Purchase Orders
  • Ensure all deliveries are as per purchase order, timely update the Purchase Order status
  • ad-hoc tasks as required by the management
