    Our client is a great marketer. They market a comprehensive brand which have grown to be the leader in the Malaysian Beauty Care, Fabric Home Care, Human Health Care industry, marketing a wide range of products and brands which was established in 1973 as an overseas one of the top of FMCG in Japan.

    • Assist the Category Manager to manage all aspects of brand building exercise including customer management business process which ensures effective communication and liaison between Sales, Marketing and other departments in order to optimize key business opportunities with timely execution.
    • Develop Budget/ ETR category sales, Marketing expenses and annual Marketing Strategy and activities plans that is in line with Corporate strategies, Brand strategies and sales team as well.
    • Supervise sales plans and analyze promotional effectiveness and use the information or by surveys and analysis to develop or revise Marketing communication, Marketing activities (event, sampling, conference, etc) regarding consumers’ needs/wants attitude/behavior and insight.
    • Plan & Execute Media Best Formation to maximize Brand Value in line with Brand Communication Strategy and also to pursue efficient ROI using a variety of Media, typically conventional and digital campaign.
    • Liaise with agency on the development for all advertising and digital campaign materials and increase range of creative POP merchandising items.
    • Acquire category analysis and data analytics skills and knowledge with the frequent use of Advisor (Nielsen Retail Audit) to identify brand issues, distribution gaps, channel development opportunities for each of Key retailers in the assigned categories and brand portfolio.
    • Liaison and work with business unit on new product development, regional and brand related matters. To ensure new/improved products that meet with targeted consumers' needs.
    • Propose Price policy to Company management and implementation.
    • Review and manage product performance/inventory and propose action plan for slow items.
    • Assist the Category Manager in the development of consumer and trade promotions for each key account and trade channel. Ensure these strategies are in tandem with the positioning and potential of the accounts / channels.
    • Responsible for managing and controlling expenses compare with budget by category, variant, profitability and cost control & ROI of events and advertising activities-
    • Assist the Category Manager to monitor competitive activities (4Ps) and submit monthly report to track frequency and types of promotions taking place in the various trade sectors, documenting such activities for analysis, reporting and future referencing purposes
    • Assisting Category Manager to ensure effective distribution or delivery of merchandising and trade materials to relevant parties.

    Your profile would be on the edge with having the below:

    - 3-5 years or above to handle brand management for associate products,especially product development/brand building for FMCG
    - familiar or verse with Nielsen/Kantar researches
    - Versed into Computer : Excel and Powerpoint

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Language : English and any others would be advantageous
    - Education Background : Bachelors's Degree in Marketing, Sales or Management
    - Experience : 3-5 years in Branding/Marketing into FMCG preferrably in Skincare brands
    - Require Skill : Marketing Skills
